Friday night was spent shooting the Junior A Hurling Championship semi-final between my home club Courcey Rovers and local rivals Tracton. The game was played at Belgooly GAA. The match ended in a 1-15 to 1-12 win for Tracton. The evening varied between bright sunshine and dark clouds making camera settings adjustment critical.
Saturday afternoon saw me shooting at Fermoy GAA for the camogie match between Cork and Down in the 2017 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Camogie Championship at intermediate level. The Cork girls proved too strong for Down and ran out winners by 3-11 to 0-09. They are now through to the semi-final next weekend with their opponents, venue and timing to be confirmed later this week. Shooting conditions were good with sunshine and some cloud but little wind and no rain.
