Shooting in the fog under lights

October 27, 2017  •  Leave a Comment

Last night at Carrigaline for the U21 championship match between Courcey Rovers and Ballymartle proved to be a technical challenge. On arival it was mainly clear but the playing pitch had a layer of white mist to a height of about 8 feet above the grass. Some test shots during the warm up came out as silhouettes in the fog from which you could not see which team was which.

Fortunately it transpired the not all the  lights were on and when the extras were switch on a lot of the mist disappeared but shooting conditions were still tricky.

A learning experience indeed!
